well I finished a few more Lo's.. its hard to get good pictures with the weather!..oh well its winter in New England.. here's hoping the groundhog comes up with the right answers! And a short winter..

This is another great challenge at The Paper Variety and it is very inspiring...I used a different quote.. actually a quote from the bible that I have always loved..

He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Genesis 15:5

here is my layout...

I really like this one too! The picture is one of my all time favorites.. all my nieces and nephews when they were little on a tree that fell in the back yard. Can you find the "Goose" in the picture...lol..

Get over to The Paper Variety and see the wonderful work they do on inpiring challenges!

Snow Snow.....Snow!!

Another snow another 15 inches .. I think .. it looks like a lot more out there..well I guess shoveling is a good way to keep the New years resolutions .. lots of exercise.

Thank God for scrapping .. keeps you sane in the insane world of snow storms every 5 days...

This lay out I have completed is for Frosted Designs.. the challenge was to Use a Transparency, Vellum or Acrylic!

This was new to me so I had to think about it for a while and now I am close to the deadline! Oh well I finished.. and geeez it is snowing.. AGAIN!

This is my brothers kids... Christmas morning, with their new Lacrosse hats.. courtesy if Nana and Grampa!

I used the Alpine Collection I got at Joann's, a piece of vellum, and a transparency over the picture...
I like it!

see what you think...

You should go to Frosted Designs and see the beautiful work they do!

Stealing Cinderella

well its Sunday. I was actually going to post last night but I didn't like the picture ... I needed sunlight.. but what I didn't need is the cold! Yuck!

Without further ado... "stealing cinderella"

this is my "gooses" school dance.. she looks beautiful... and made me think of the song stealing cinderella...

I used Disney speciality papers... white lace coordinations papers...

this was a labor of love and took a while to figure out... but it came out kinda special! What do you think?

The LO is a design over at The Paper Variety...check it out...

Bring it on...

I am so proud of my nieces and nephews... they play lacrosse and play at a very high level.. My niece... "goose" is awesome and is going to college on a scholarship to play. So is my nephew.. actually most of them are in college playing or played in college and coaching ..graduating from high school or coming soon.. everyone of them are starts in their own right.. here is my "goose" playing for New England after a game where she got a bit roughed up ... bring it "goose"...

This was inspired by a sketch over at Sketch Inspirations and used for a challenge at Colorful Creations called "Inspired by Bedding".

well I am off to "scrap em"

Prom

Well today I decided to do a layout for my nephew's prom pictures.. well some of them anyway. I wanted to use the sketch from Scrapbook Speedway. This is what I came up with..

Don't the guys look great! Such memories!

Monday, January 17, 2011

so I finished another layout for another challenge.. this is my niece and nephew .. I love this picture..
I tried a new technique with paint on this ... what do you think??

I am going to enter this in The Paper Variety's going pink challenge..

let me know what you think...

here I am again!

right now I am inspired by all I see...its so fun! This next layout was inspired by 2 different sites.. my all time home site colorful creations.. I love it there and Frosted designs.
First.. Colorful Creations had a "mist challenge" .. I haven't misted much and procrastinated .. then I saw the challenge for "paint" at Frosted Designs.. so combined them.

This LO is my niece, Britt. I call her "wild child" She is very much a free spirit and fun.. I love seeing her pictures and watching her grow into a beautiful young lady..

I misted the paper first with a pewter mist then did the trees and pictures.... I added a combination of green, orange, black and tan paint. I then misted on copper. and this is the results...

I think it came out pretty good ... what do you think?

Good Morning!

well another January morning in New England! And its cold! I cannot wait fro spring! I have a new layout to share.. I did this a couple of weeks ago. Thought I would share. This is Megs or "Goose" as I called her when she was little. She is my niece and Goddaughter, finishing her senior year. She is a star! And Beautiful!

Here is my layout..

I did this as a DT over at Colorful Creations for a challenge. Check them out .. it is a fun place!

I decided this year I would enter some of my layout into challenges around the net. this one fits over at Frosted designs.. love this site... so what the heck I am going to try!
